On April 30th, the IFBDO General Assembly took place at the public library of Lisbon. Representatives of 32 countries, of the 42 that have the right to vote, attended it.
It was a great success. There were debates on blood donation problems in the world and during the extraordinary assembly they made changes to the statute and they nominated the new General Secretary, Dr SAYAH ABDELMALEK (Algeria).
