With deep emotion and pride, the Panhellenic Federation of Volunteer Blood Donor Associations (P.O.S.E.A.), in co-organization with the Greek Parliament, held, on Friday, May 9, 2025, the Volunteer Blood Donor Honoring Event in the Plenary Hall of the Parliament, which was granted for the first time in so many years for this purpose.
It was a highly symbolic ceremony, dedicated to the 316 honoured Volunteer Blood Donors from across the country, who through their continuous and selfless service serve the ultimate good of life.
During the event, the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr. Nikitas Kaklamanis, was awarded the highest honorary distinction, the FIODS International Merit of Blood Medal.
The medal was awarded by the President of F.I.O.D.S. Mr. Sayah Abdelmalek and the Secretary General of F.I.O.D.S. Mr. Theologos Zotos.
The President of FIODS during his greeting, warmly congratulated all Greek volunteer blood donors and especially the President of the Panhellenic Federation Mr. Christos Protopapa for his important and unique contribution for many years both in Greece and in FIODS since 1996.
