In the following days the 15th International Forum of Young Blood Donors from IFBDO/FIODS member countries will take place in Milan (Italy), in collaboration with AVIS (Associazione Volontari Italiani Sangue).

From 27th to 30th of August more than 70 young volunteers from all over the world are going to exchange their experiences about spreading the message of Blood Donation. Also the volunteers are going to be educated from experts in order to plan a future with sufficiency of voluntary non remunerated blood donation.

The theme of this year’s Forum is “Feeding solidarity, volunteers for life!”.

The Forum will start on 27th of August with the traditional ¨Market¨, in which each delegation presents their local products and their gadget and local structure of the organisation. In the following days the participants are going to visit the local Blood Donation Centre and the EXPO 2015. During the conference several workshops are planned. The conference comes to end at 30th of August with the presentation of the results and the general assessment.

With a strong link to the great issues being discussed in EXPO 2015, participants will focus on the topic of feeding the will and the passion of our volunteers through a wide look on what being a donor means, involving helpfulness, consciousness and healthy lifestyles.

We are looking forward to a successful Forum, stay tuned!
